How it works: after your visit, PCMC sends your lab order to Quest electronically. You book a time on Quest’s website or walk in, bring a photo ID, and get drawn. Testosterone should be drawn in the morning, because levels are highest early in the day and the national guideline bases the diagnosis on early-morning results. Why the draw has to be in the morning.
Quest locations and hours from questdiagnostics.com, checked October 16, 2026. Hours change, so confirm on Quest’s location finder before you go.
What happens before treatment starts
- Free consultation by video. About two minutes to book online. You talk through symptoms, history and goals.
- Two morning blood draws. Low testosterone has to be confirmed with two separate early-morning results, as the national guideline recommends. Both draws are included in the $175 first panel. If you already have recent labs, send them first, and they are reviewed before anything new is ordered.
- Results review. Testosterone therapy is prescribed only when your symptoms and your lab results both support it.
- Your plan and price, in writing. You know the monthly price before you commit. Medication ships to your home.
- Follow-up. Monitoring labs at week six and week twelve, then every three to six months depending on how you respond.
